Mr. Brownlee, a Vice-President at JMH Capital, has been investing in private equity since 2000. Prior to joining JMH Capital, Mr. Brownlee was a Director at 3i Corporation where he made investents in technology and growth stage companies. His specific responsibilities included generating and evaluating investment opportunities, transaction structuring, due diligence, and negotiation of terms and legal documentation.  While at 3i, Mr. Brownlee served on the board of directors of Brainshark, SiGe Semiconductor, WhiteRock Networks, Quarry, and Crystal IS.

Before joining 3i Corporation, Mr. Brownlee worked at the Export Development Corporation where he managed a global portfolio of syndicated and bilateral loans.   Prior to EDC, Mr. Brownlee was at the Royal Bank where he was responsible for auditing internal controls, managing cash controls, and providing strategic investment advice through a multi-tiered staff.

Mr. Brownlee holds a Bachelor of Economics and a Masters of Business Administration from Carleton University. In addition, he is a CFA charter holder and a member of the Toronto Chapter of Chartered Financial Analysts and the Boston Security Analysts Society.
