Berean Christian Stores Grows Store Count with Acquisition of Bible Book Store in Billings, Montana

Cincinnati, Ohio - February 4, 2008 - Berean Christian Stores, a leading retailer of Christian books, giftware, and church supplies, today announced its acquisition of Billings, MT based Bible Book Store, a privately-held independent store.

The acquisition strengthens Berean’s market presence by adding one of the country’s preeminent Christian retail stores to its existing chain of 25 stores.  The addition of the Billings store brings the total number of Berean Christian Stores locations to 26 in 8 states across the country.

Bill Simmons, president of Berean Christian Stores, calls the move a great fit for Berean. “We are thankful to know we have such a strong foundation on which to build thanks to the ministry Christine and Michael Wall have so faithfully provided to the Billings community.  This store will continue to provide that same level of ministry and service for many years to come.”

“We were very selective about the ongoing stewardship of Bible Book Store’s ministry to our community,” stated Michael Wall.  “Berean Christian Stores was chosen because they share a similar vision with our family to point people to a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ.  We are confident they will continue to serve the greater Billings area with quality Christian resources and are excited to turn over our store to their care.”
